Prior to joining Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty in 2018, Kathy co-owned and managed a successful boutique-style brokerage firm with offices in Los Altos and San Francisco.. Her expertise comes from 36 years as a licensed Realtor and is currently an active member of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors, the Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Kathy earned her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation from the National Association of Realtors being held by only 1% of Realtors nationwide. Realtors holding this designation are highly trained and educated in many areas of real estate to better serve and protect their clients.
Kathy’s clients cite her empathetic nature and flexibility along with her professionalism, persistence and negotiation skills as reasons they would recommend her to others. She brings unique technical transaction expertise from years of working in the title and escrow industry and strong partnerships in the mortgage industry.
Elected leadership roles with the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors held by Kathy include LA/MV Affiliate Chair, Board of Directors Affiliate Chair, Charitable Foundation Vice-chair, and certified Trainer for the California Association of Realtors. Her years of service in leadership positions elected by her peers in the industry provide added breadth to her business approach and Agent-to-Agent relationships to help make purchase offer negotiations successful.
Kathy is a native Los Altan and has strong ties to Silicon Valley, the community she has grown up with, from the time it was known for its fruit orchards to its fast-forward transformation into charming high-tech towns. She has volunteered her time and has been Chair and Co-chair of many local fundraising events for the benefit of the Community Services Agency, woman’s shelters, the American Red Cross, cancer research, along with collective donations to a wide variety of charities through the Rotary Club of Los Altos.
